NAV updates and realized vs. unrealized gains

Mutual fund NAVs update automatically once per day, synced from MUFAP (Mutual Funds Association of Pakistan), Pakistan's official source for fund pricing. The sync runs every weekday evening; it's skipped on weekends since funds don't reprice then. The Mutual Funds tab shows exactly when NAVs were last updated.
If a fund can't be automatically matched to MUFAP's listing, you can set a manual NAV override; Gramafin will use that value for all calculations until you clear it or the fund matches successfully.
Unrealized gains are the paper gains on units you still hold, based on the current NAV. Realized gains are profit already locked in from units you've sold; Gramafin tracks these separately per fund so you can see both at a glance.

Frequently asked questions
Why hasn’t my NAV updated today?
The sync runs weekday evenings; check back after that. Weekends never update since MUFAP funds don’t reprice on non-trading days.
How do I record selling some units?
Reduce the units held on that fund and, if you want the profit reflected as realized rather than unrealized, note the sale in a separate entry; there's no dedicated “sell” action yet.
