Credit card utilization explained

Illustration of a percent sign, representing credit card utilization

Utilization is your current balance divided by your credit limit, shown as a percentage next to each credit card on the Net worth page.

It's color-coded the same way as budgets: green under 70%, amber from 70 to 90%, and red at 90% or above. Keeping utilization low is generally good for your credit health.
