Adding assets

On the Assets & Liabilities page, the Assets tab is split into sub-tabs: Stocks, Crypto, Other, and Mutual Funds, each with its own add form and holdings list.

Stocks are added by searching a real PSX symbol or company name; Gramafin tracks the live price for you automatically.

Crypto, and anything under Other (cash, real estate, gold, vehicles, and any other property), are added with a name, the amount you originally invested, and a current value that you update yourself whenever you want it reflected.

Loans and other debts are added separately, from the Liabilities tab on the same page.

Frequently asked questions

Where do credit cards go?

Not here. Credit cards are added and managed from Settings → Accounts, alongside your checking and savings accounts, since they need a due date and credit limit that other liabilities don't.

What if my asset doesn't fit Stocks, Crypto, or Mutual Funds?

Use Other. It covers real estate, gold, jewelry, vehicles, and anything else without its own live pricing source.
